 This is my second cabinet-Dec 13, 2010

I bought this cabinet about 5 years ago. I have really enjoyed using it and it is still like new. I have more than one sewing machine, so I decided to buy another. It is a great cabinet for the money. It takes a 2-3 hours to assemble. The instructions are fairly clear. I made one mistake assembling it, by installing the bottom shelf with the unfinished edge "showing". When the cabinet is closed, you cannot see that, so I'm leaving as is, rather than disassembling it. All the parts required, were included. The box was clearly marked "fragile, do not drop", so all components were in good condition.

I ordered a sewing cabinet on Nov. 25 with a 4 - 6 week shipping date. After weeks of not getting a tracking number I e mailed the merchant (Ken's sewing Center) asking for one and that is when he told me the orders weren't being shipped on time. He said that it would be mailed out between Dec.31 and Jan. 4. I said that was fine. After not hearing from him I assumed it had been shipped out already and wanted a tracking number. That is when he told me he thinks it's being mailed out today (Jan.26) but, without giving me a tracking number...again. Why was I not notified Jan. 4 when the order wasn't shipped out as promised? Really good question, right? I canceled the order and I'm now disputing the credit card charges. BUYER BEWARE. This merchant is shady. Run don't walk.

I REALLY LIKE THIS TABLE- IT GIVES ME ALL THE ROOM I NEED AND THE AIRLIFT IS WONDERFUL. I SPENT AN ENTIRE DAY ASSEMBLING IT BY MYSELF- WHILE IT WASN'T HARD TO DO ONE STEP AT A TIME- IT'S NOT AN EXPERIENCE THAT I WOULD CARE TO REPEAT!

I received a call from the manufacturer when it shipped giving me information on what to look for, who to contact for any issues etc. It arrived promptly and in good condition, however assembling it was a rather lengthy process but the instruction booklet was good and it went without any problems. A week or so later I received the free insert that was not the correct one for the model credenza I purchased. I sent an email through Amazon to the seller and was promptly contacted and told that I would be contacted by the manufacturer with instructions on how to get the correct insert and return the incorrect one. That same afternoon I received a call from the manufacturer and they confirmed I had the incorrect insert. They verified the model credenza and sewing machine I have and within a few days I received the correct one. It fits perfectly! I was truly surprised to get it that quickly considering that it's the holiday season. I'm very pleased with the credenza, insert and great customer service from seller and manufacturer.

(1) Item received in oak (ordered white). Sent back.
(2) Item received in oak AGAIN. Sent back.
(3) Item received in white
(a) Top piece cracked
(b) Notions tray cracked
(c) Drawer back cracked
(4) Broken pieces replaced
(5) Arrow sent a lamp to compensate for problems. Lamp was broken.
(6) Broken lamp replaced.
To date, over three months later, custom insert has not been sent. (Sewing machine model was emailed (through Amazon's email system) on the day item was ordered.) Arrow won't make it until TheSewingCenter orders is. To date, TheSewingCenter has not ORDERED the insert, nor have they responded to ANY of my Amazon-system emails about the issue.
The finished product may be good, but we have yet to use it because we have NO insert.
